Tod took photographs all of his life. In the early days of the family, he captured our growing up on film. Later on, he became a professional photographer for a while, working for the Vancouver Art Gallery, and then for himself. When digital cameras came along he bought a small Nikon and then a Fuji FinePix F30, and spent the last years of his life documenting life in Nelson. The photographs here appear in no particular order . . . they also include photos of Tod taken by others . . . I will be adding more over time as Rachel has time to scan the huge collection of prints and negatives.

“I took this photo here on a day devoted to airplanes.” This photo was taken in the last year of Tod’s life and is the only photo he posted to this site himself.
